What’s an atelierista?

In the schools of Reggio Emilia, an atelierista is an artist-educator who designs creative experiences, encourages curiosity, and supports children as they explore ideas through materials and making. While Wonderflow is not a Reggio school, that philosophy has had a lasting influence on my approach to studio teaching and the creation of Wonderflow.
